$800 Travel Grant for Fellows & Non-Physicians

The AAPM Foundation envisions a future where every patient has access to optimal pain care that enhances functionality and quality of life, significantly reducing the prevalence of pain in the United States and beyond.
The AAPM Foundation’s mission is to eliminate pain as a significant public health issue by advancing provider education, supporting groundbreaking research, and ensuring patient access to individualized, comprehensive, and evidence-based pain care.
As a result of our 2025 Giving Tuesday Campaign, we are pleased to offer four $800 travel grants for PainConnect 2026, the AAPM annual meeting. We will award two travel grants for fellows and two for non-physicians. Please read on for details.
Requirements for the $800 Travel Grant:
- Current AAPM membership and current registration for PainConnect 2026.
- Fellows – must be attending an ACGME-accredited pain fellowship program.
- Complete a 350 to 500-word statement on why you are applying for the grant to attend PainConnect 2026.
- If awarded, write a 750-word blog post with candid photos about your attendance at PainConnect 2026 to be shared on the AAPM Foundation’s website and social media.

Awardees will be notified by February 20, 2026. Travel grants will be awarded on a reimbursement basis after your 750-word blog post is completed. The AAPM Foundation will send each awardee a reimbursement form with instructions before the annual meeting.
