Innovative Pharmacists Belong at PainConnect 2026

PainConnect 2026 is built for the future of multidisciplinary pain care, and why pharmacists belong at PainConnect 2026. Unlike large, generalized medical conferences where pharmacy professionals are often sidelined, PainConnect is intentionally designed to integrate pharmacists into the dialogue, the decision-making, and the innovation.

Whether you’re focused on opioid stewardship, pharmacologic therapies, or advancing patient outcomes in team-based settings, PainConnect offers unparalleled value for clinical and industry pharmacists alike.

A Conference Designed with Pharmacists in Mind

Sessions feature thought leaders, academic experts, and frontline clinicians who are actively shaping pain care and policy. Our sessions are designed to allow for real dialogue rather than passive listening.
Here are a few examples.

  • Medication Management: What Guides Our Choices?
Presented by Lisa Luciani, PharmD, BCBS & Jeremy Adler, DMSc, PA-C
A candid, evidence-based discussion of therapeutic pathways across patient types.
  • Buprenorphine for the Pain Practitioner
    Led by Sudheer Potru, DO
An essential update on pharmacotherapy for complex pain and opioid use disorder.
  • IV Buprenorphine for Acute Pain
Presented by Jon B. Lee, MD
Translating cutting-edge protocols into real-world acute care strategies.

From Entry-Level to Advanced Clinical Insight

Whether you’re a clinical pharmacist new to pain care or an advanced practitioner specializing in interventional therapies, PainConnect offers curated sessions for every stage of your career, and why pharmacists belong at PainConnect 2026.

You’ll engage with real-world challenges, including:

  • Approaches to Opioid Weaning & De-escalation
  • Transitional Pain Service: Preventing Hospital Re-Admissions
  • Topical Therapies & Neuropathic Pain Treatment

These are paired with deeper dives into neuroinflammation, ketamine, psychedelics, and topical agents relevant to pharmacy practice.

Pharmacists as Key Stakeholders in Team-Based Pain Care

You’ll network and collaborate alongside physicians, APPs, psychologists, researchers, and pain fellows. With a smaller scale and more focused format than Pain Week, PainConnect is intentionally structured to allow more interaction, deeper conversation, and real connection.

From clinical education to policy leadership, PainConnect affirms the pharmacist’s voice in defining the future of pain medicine. This is why pharmacists belong at PainConnect 2026.
